Service Description

Effective Self-Defense involves techniques and strategies that enable you to protect yourself from physical harm with reasonable force while respecting the laws. It includes staying calm while assessing and avoiding potential threats. It encompasses a range of methods including situational awareness, martial arts, and de-escalation techniques with physical maneuvers. It is important for individuals to learn self-defense skills to enhance personal safety and confidence in potentially dangerous situations. Once a month, Striking Tactics offers an exclusive Self-Defense class combing the skills and techniques from our Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Kali disciplines into practical self-defense situation. In our comprehensive 1-hour session, students will learn self-defense techniques and strategies in various aspects: • Situational Awareness • Weapons Awareness • Techniques for Disarming • Defense Against Common Choking • Defense Against Grabbing Scenarios • Mental Preparedness Schedule: Every 2nd Wednesday of the Month at 8:00PM to 9:00PM Instruction Level: Ages 12+, Open to All Levels
